The Darkskymeter app does not collect personal data except for your GPS information (location data) and some technical metadata (like pointing angles). On the map (darkskymeter.com) there is a built-in offset to allow privacy. Data is sent only when you chose to do so. The data you send to us is used to populate the map and give valuable research information to the Globe at Night initiative. If you do not want a measurement to be shown on the map due to privacy reasons, please contact us.
